RAWALPINDI – Five military personnel were injured as miscreants led by AliWazir and Mohsin Dawar attacked a check-post in North Waziristan, apress-release issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated today.
The aim of the attack at Khar Qamar check-post was to exert pressure to getfacilitators of terrorists released.
The ISPR said three attackers were killed and 10 others were injured.
According to the ISPR, eight people including Ali Wazir were taken intocustody.
However, Mohsin Dawar fled from the area after inciting violence throughhate-speech.
On May 6, a first information report (FIR) was registered against membersof Pashtun Tahafuz Movement’s (PTM) central committee including MNA AliWazir in North Waziristan.
The FIR was registered against Wazir and 11 other individuals for “enticingpeople to revolt against the state and for protesting and chanting slogansagainst state and security forces”.
