ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has expressed serious concerns over Indian ExternalAffairs Minister Sushma Swaraj being invited by the United Arab Emirates(UAE) at the 26th Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) States meetwhich is set to take place in Abu Dhabi on March 1 and 2.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi today (Tuesday) telephoned hisEmirati counterpart and demanded to withdraw the decision.
“Aggression has been done against a founding member of the OIC” the foreignminister said, referring to the Indian jets incursion in Balakot in KhyberPakhtunkhwa province.
Qureshi said that Prime Minister Imran Khan also had telephonicconversations with UAE Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan aswell as Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman over the development.
