In light of reported threats to their safety, the security institutionshave issued warnings to former prime ministers and brothers, Nawaz andShehbaz Sharif, advising them against congregating in the same location.
To mitigate potential risks, security agencies have instructed both NawazSharif and Shehbaz Sharif, along with their immediate family members, torefrain from traveling together or assembling in one place. In response tothese security concerns, enhanced protective measures have been put inplace for both siblings.
The government has taken steps to bolster the security of PML-N leaderNawaz Sharif by equipping his security team with two jamming devices andother security equipment, in addition to the customary VVIP protocolafforded to a former prime minister.
These supplementary security measures have been implemented in response tospecific threat alerts related to the Sharif family.
Notably, upon his recent return to Pakistan after a four-year absence,Nawaz Sharif was initially granted the standard security protocol befittinga former prime minister.
On October 21, he arrived in Pakistan from the UK and addressed a publicgathering of his party at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore. Subsequently, thecourts suspended his arrest warrants and granted him protective bail inconnection with multiple cases against him.
