ISLAMABAD: Pakistan strongly responds back to US snub over father ofdisgruntled PTM Gulalai Ismail’s father
Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal said on Friday thatProfessor Ismail had been detained by law enforcement agencies in a cybercrime case.
Professor Ismail is the father of rights activist Gulalai Ismail. Dr Faisalsaid that Ismail, being a Pakistani citizen, is entitled to due process andright of defence provided in the Constitution.
“Prof. Mohammad Ismail has been detained by the law enforcement authoritiesin Peshawar in a case of cyber crime as per our laws.
