Pakistan grills Indian top envoy in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan on Friday has summoned Indian Chargé d’AffairesGaurav Ahluwalia to condemned the unprovoked ceasefire violations by theIndian occupation forces along the Line of Control (LoC) in Shahkot andKhuiratta Sectors on 24th October, 2019.

According to Foreign Office, Director General (SA & SAARC) Dr. MohammadFaisal summoned Indian Chargé d’Affaires to protest the unprovoked firingby Indian Army.

Due to indiscriminate and unprovoked firing by Indian Army, three innocentcivilians, Ilm Din, s/o Zulfiqar, Gul Zarin, s/o Ilm Din and Sultan, s/oGul Zarin, residents of village Lala, Tehsil Athmaqam, District Neelum,embraced shahadat, while one child, Iqra d/o Muhammad Aftab, age 4 years,resident of village Jugulpur, Tehsil & District Khuiratta, sustainedserious injuries.

The Indian occupation forces along the LoC and Working boundary havecontinuously been targeting civilian populated areas with artillery fire,heavy-caliber mortars, and automatic weapons, which still continues.

This unprecedented escalation in ceasefire violations by India iscontinuing from the year 2017 when the Indian forces committed 1970ceasefire violations.
