LAHORE – Former Pakistani captain Shahid Afridi makes a request to thePakistani nation over the bilateral series against Srilanka at the homeseries. Afridi congratulated Pakistan Cricket Board and said that he wasvery excited for the return of international cricket in Pakistan.
In a video message shared on twitter, Shahid Afridi talks about theimportance of cricket in Pakistan and how much this sport means to the fans.
“I would like to congratulate Pakistan Cricket Board and would also like tothank the Sri Lankan Cricket Board who agreed to send their team toPakistan,” Afridi said ahead of ODI and T20 series in Pakistan.
The former cricketer posted the video on his YouTube channel. Afridi alsourged cricket fans to come to the grounds, support players and show theworld Pakistan is a peaceful and hospitable country.
