*ISLAMABAD: Chief Election Commissioner Justice (retd) Sardar Raza ischairing a meeting to consider extending polling time after politicalparties complained of slow voting process.*
Povincial election commissioners are attending the meeting where they havebeen asked to give their opinion on the demand that came from PakistanMuslim League-Nawaz.
Although some other political parties have also complained of slow pollingin different parts of the country, PMLN was the only one to demandextension in polling time.
PMLN leader Mushahid Hussain Syed is said to have written a letter to theECP , demanding the electoral body to extend the time.
The letter was sent through Fax and also released to the media.
After consultation with ECP members , the Election Commission chairmanwould take final decision whether to extend polling time for an hour or not.
