ISLAMABAD – Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar cavalcadehas met with an accident while on his way from Islamabad to Balakot.
He was going from Islamabad to Bala Kot to see the earthquake victims fundcase when six vehicles involved in his caravan collapsed in Pokal Squarenear Mansehra.
The cars crashed include the Chief Justice’s protocol, Rangers and mediarepresentatives.
The incident has been caused due to unexpected breaks of a car driver, butno casualties occurred in the accident.
The three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Pakistan Saqib Nisar in theSupreme Court heard the earthquake victims fund case.
During the hearing, the Chief Justice Saqib Nisar decided to go to theearthquake affected areas of Balakot and directed the applicants to goalong.
The Chief Justice took information about the private helicopter from theRegistrar Supreme Court, saying that the helicopter is a carrier to rent,will visit the earthquake affected areas on its own.
