ISLAMABAD – Marvi Memon has expressed her frustration over Twitter againstPML N leadership.
She has left all stunned with speculations about the cause of the tweet.
Whether it is betrayal from Nawaz Sharif over refusal to give her ticketagainst Sherazi brothers in Thatta or some betrayal from Ishaq Dar over heralleged marriage, refusal to be taken in kitchen cabinet, rumours havebeen mongering on media.
Marvi Memon expressed her anguish towards her party’s top leadership afterreportedly being refused the ticket for the upcoming general elections.
Memon took to social media site Twitter to register her protest against thePakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leadership in a series of tweetssaying, “*Ghalti aur gunah kissi aur ka, aur saza kissi aur ko. Wahleadership wah.*”
In another tweet, she targeted the party leadership as well as her closefriends for not helping her cause.
“And those who say they r [are] ur [your] leaders friends n [and] who vowto stand by u [you] come what may when they turn away n [and] turn a blindeye to injustices it’s time to think what is the point of protecting thehonour of such leaders who can’t even b [be] tru(e) to God’s ways,” shewrote, perhaps reffering to PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique who hadfacilitated Memon to join PML-N after she was refused a prized slot byPakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), but was not possibly supportive in therecent episodes.
Memon also tried to play the woman card in an apparent bid to attractattention.
“Women take so much nonsense, it’s when they recover from trauma that theyr [are] most lethal not when they r [are] down n [and] under. There isnothing beyond one’s self-respect n yet women sacrifice that in the trauma.But when they surface they vow never to compromise on that self-respect.”
In a subsequent tweet, she called for accountability of the leadership andwrote, “Always in a crime, there r [are] abettors n [and] those who provokea crime. Their *hisaab* [accountability] wil(l) come first. They needexposing first.”
It is worth mentioning here that Ishaq Dar, one of the accused in thecorruption cases filed against deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif andother members of his family in the accountability court, has reportedlytied a secret knot with Marvi Memon, and both have kept quiet over theissue.
“And finally the last tweet for now on ths [this] pathetic subject –*Politics* *insaaan izzat kai liyai kerta hai*. Nobody appreciates beingtaken for a ride n [and] then the ensuing *baizteee* (insult),” she wrote,triggering hundreds of responses from PML-N followers and the oppositionPakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) – all cursing her for being opportunisticand betraying.
