Renowned Pakistani television actor Roohi Bano passed away

ISLAMABAD – Renowned Pakistani television and stage actor Roohi Bano passedaway on Friday, her sister Rubina Yasmeen confirmed. She was 67 years old.

According to Bano’s sister, the actor had been on the ventilator for thelast 10 days in a hospital in Turkey and had been suffering from kidneyfailure.

Roohi Bano, the winner of President’s Pride of Performance Award and twoPTV awards had also been suffering from schizophrenia. She was said to havespiraled into depression after her only son, Ali was murdered in 2005.
