PESHAWAR – A 24-member delegation of foreign services attaches and advisersvisited Corps Headquarters Peshawar Thursday where they were given detailedbriefing on prevailing security environment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa andFederally Administered Tribal Areas.
Participants of the delegation were informed about the contribution ofPakistan army in the war against terrorism and bringing normalcy in thearea, a statement issued by Inter Services Public Relations said.
The delegation was also briefed about uplift and development activitiesundertaken by Pakistan army in the entire FATA .
Theywere informed that these unprecedented development works had brought apositive change in the living standard of tribesmen.
Temporarily Displaced People return, FATA reforms and Pak-Afghan bordermanagement system and fencing was also highlighted during the briefing.
During the one day long visit, the delegation also visited forward areas ofKhyber Agency where they were briefed about the achievements of OperationKhyber-4 and the ongoing fencing along Pak-Afghan border.
