Afghan Taliban two commanders killed in clashes with Afghan Army

FARYAB: Two commanders of Taliban group were killed in Frayab province ofAfghanistan during the ongoing clashes with the Afghan security forces onThursday.

According to military official the clash was started in Ghormach districtbetween Afghan forces and Taliban fighters in which two local commanders ofTaliban group were killed and one of the commanders is identified as MullahSher Agha.

Four Taliban militants were also injured during the clashes that took placein Aab Garmak area of the district.

The official added that the Afghan forces also confiscated a communicationdevice set and an improvised explosive device was discovered and defused aswell.

Faryab is among the relatively volatile provinces in northern parts of thecountry where the anti-government armed militants are actively operating ina number of its districts.
