Protesters staging protest against eviction in Karachi’s Pakistan Quartersarea—on Wednesday pelted stones at vehicle of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf s(PTI) leader Khurram Sher Zaman.
Zaman went there to pacify the fumed residents.
On the other hand, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail stated that he had atelephonic conversation with Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice SaqibNisar.

He took to popular micro-blogging website Twitter and stated, “[I] had atelephonic conversation with the honorable Chief Justice of Pakistan,regarding Pakistan Quarter issue. CJ has kindly consented to hold theevacuation process for 3 months, he showed concerns on [loss of] precioushuman life, I am thankful to CJ for accepting the request.”
