*Dhaka, August 24* — Pakistan and Bangladesh have signed six importantagreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) aimed at strengtheningbilateral relations and cooperation across multiple sectors.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the signing ceremony tookplace in Dhaka under the supervision of Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Ministerand Foreign Minister along with the Advisor for Foreign Affairs ofBangladesh.
The agreements include:

Abolishing visa requirements for diplomats and government officials. –
An MoU between the foreign service academies of both countries. –
An MoU between Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) and Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS). –
An MoU between the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) and the Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS). –
The establishment of a Trade Joint Working Group through an MoU. –
A Cultural Exchange Program for the years 2025–2028.
Officials from both sides expressed hope that these agreements will pavethe way for enhanced diplomatic, cultural, and economic cooperation betweenthe two Islamic brotherly countries.
