ISLAMABAD – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has launched a probeagainst former president Pervez Musharraf for possessing assetsdisproportionate to his known income.
The probe has been started on the complaint of Col (retd) Inamur Rahim. Thecomplainant stated that Musharraf had made assets beyond his known sourceof income in the country and abroad.
“According to the FBR, Musharraf has not even paid the tax,” he added.
The NAB has also asked the complainant to give evidence in this regard.
Sources said that the Islamabad High Court (IHC) had authorized the NAB toconduct investigations against Pervez Musharraf.
