Pakistan to come out of the FATF greylist soon, claims top official

NOWSHERA – Defense Minister Pervez Khan Khattak on Sunday said thatPakistan would be out of the Financial Action Task Force’s (FATF) gray listsoon due to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s better foreign and internalpolicies.

He said the prime minister was focusing on inflation, unemployment andpoverty alleviation. “We will ensure the provision of health, education andother basic facilities in the coming fiscal year to poor people,” he added.

He said this during inauguration of tube well and gas supply scheme inAzakhel.The country was facing a huge economic crisis due to wrong policies of pastgovernments, he said, adding the present government had aimed to get thecountry out of huge financial debts.

He said the people were suffering from many crises due to wrong policies ofthe past governments and ensured that government would improve life standerof the common man.

“The PTI government has proved that it is the only political party which isfacilitating people at their doorstep,” Khattak added.

He said Prime Minister Imran Khan was a tremendous leader of great visionas he had made tough decisions even no one could think of them and hopedthat Pakistan would come up very soon in the rank of prosperous countriesof the world.

The prime minister was leading the country in right direction where commonman would be provided all facilities of life and chances to grow, he added.

Pervaiz Khattak also advised opposition to forward positive proposals andsaid that government would always welcome their suggestions and proposals.

The minister made it clear that there was no danger to the government andit would complete its constitutional tenure.
