*ISLAMABAD – National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) onFriday has made big donation for the Diamer Bhasha Dam fund.*
*NUST donated Rs5 million to the Diamer-Basha and Mohmand dams fund set upby Supreme Court of Pakistan and the prime minister of Pakistan.*
According to a statement released from the ministry, NUST pro-rector MajorGeneral (retd) Jahangir Khan called on the Chairman Higher EducationCommission (HEC) Dr Tariq Banuri to present a cheque of Rs5 million asdonation on the behalf of his faculty and staff to the dams fund.
On this occasion, the pro-rector said that faculty and staff have givendonations for the noble cause. Whereas the chairman HEC appreciated thecontribution of the NUST faculty and staff.
