LAHORE – Accountability court on Wednesday rejected the plea of PakistanMuslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz seeking permissionto meet his father, former premier Nawaz Sharif.
According to details, the court rejected Maryam’s plea to meet Nawaz Sharifwho is in hospital owing to his detriorating healt condition.
On October 21, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was shifted to ServicesHospital Lahore for medical examination and treatment after his conditiondeteriorated with a sudden drop in his platelet count.
According to a National Accountability Bureau spokesperson Nawaz was testedfor dengue fever at the hospital, but the test results came back negative.

On the other hand, PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal stated that when incarceratedNawaz was brought to Lahore’s Services Hospital, his platelets havedecreased to below 10000-level.
