LAHORE – The National Highway Authority (NHA) has so far auctioned 110vehicles for Rs129.49 million as per the instructions of Minister of Statefor Communications Murad Saeed.
According to a statement, the NHA Lahore office Monday auctioned 24vehicles and collected Rs34.99 million.
A large number of buyers participated in this process of auction while NHAMember Administration Ali Sher Mehsud and Member Central Zone Naveed IqbalWahlah were also present on the occasion.
The NHA also auctioned 62 of its vehicles in Islamabad office through openauction and generated Rs60.29 million while 15 vehicles were sold inPeshawar office fetching Rs20.3 million and nine vehicles worth Rs10.13million were sold in Abbottabad.
As many as 94 vehicles will be presented for auction in various offices ofNHA including 16 vehicles in Multan to be auctioned on 24 October, 10vehicles in Sukkur on October 26, 13 vehicles in Karachi on October 29, 35vehicles in Quetta on October 31 while 20 vehicles will be auctioned inGigit on November 5.
The NHA has selected 219 vehicles for open auction out of which 42 areluxury vehicles.
