ISLAMABAD – Minister for Planning, Development and Reform Makhdoom KhusroBakhtiar says the government is working on a robust economic plan tointroduce structural economic reforms to bring Pakistan among the middleincome countries in the long term.
He was talking to Country Director, World Bank, Patchamuthu Illangovan, whoalong-with a delegation called on him in Islamabad on Tuesday.
The Minister stated that improving tax administration, encouragingfinancial institutions to expand the range of savings and investmentinstruments, reducing the procedures, cost and time associated withinvesting, improving management practices and supporting technologyextensions would bring about economic turnaround for the country.
