ISLAMABAD – Leader of Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq Sheikh Dr HumamHamoudi has said peace in region cannot be achieved unless resolution ofthe core issue of Kashmir through meaningful dialogue in line with UNSCresolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiris.
He was talking to media persons after meeting with President AJK SardarMasood Khan in Muzaffarabad Tuesday.
Dr Humam Hamoudi said no issue can be resolved by the use of force.
He asked India to stop human rights violations and atrocities in theoccupied Kashmir.
He said Iraq supports Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir dispute and UNacknowledged right to self determination to the Kashmiris to decide theirfuture politically.

Talking to the delegation, AJK President Sardar Masood Khan said that Indiais using all tactics to suppress innocent Kashmiris which is in violationof international laws and human values.
He informed the delegation that Indian troops martyred over one lacKashmiris from 1989 out of them seven thousands were killed by torturingthem in custody.
