*QUETTA: *Russia is discussing with Pakistan the opportunities availablefor Russian Federation under the CPEC and the Gwadar Port.
Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai told Russian Consul Generalthat China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was creating prosperousopportunities for profitable investment in Balochistan.
“We want the companions of the country to take advantage of from TheRussian Federation,” said the governor on Thursday as he talked with theRussian’s Consul General Dr Aleksander G Khozin after he called him at thegovernor house.
He said that Russians investors would be provided all facilities andsecurity in Gwadar. During the meeting, the two discussed the relation ofPakistan and Russia and implementation of CPEC.
Governor Muhammad Khan said that Balochistan is basically an agriculturalarea where there is a significant potential of various vegetable and fruitproduction.
He said that Russian investors could get benefits from agriculturalpotential of Balochistan, which includes production vegetables, fruits andits markets will prove to be profitable for Russian investors.
