ISLAMABAD – Times Higher Education (THE) has included 12 Pakistaniuniversities in its Top 500 Emerging Economies University Rankings for 2020.
Only one institution from Pakistan has made it to the Top 100, as Times hasplaced Quaid-e-Azam University at 85th place. It includes institutions fromcountries that the London Stock Exchange categorizes as advanced emerging,secondary emerging, or frontier.
Rankings are compiled based on the following metrics:
– Citations – Industry income – International outlook – Research – Teaching – No of students – No of Students per staff – No of international students – Female to Male ratio
