ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Skipper Sarfraz Ahmed on Wednesday breaks silence overthe issue of the racial remarks against the South African all rounder.

Sarfraz extended apology over his uncalled-for racist remarks in the secondDurban ODI match.

The Pakistan captain said that his words were not directed towards anyonein particular.

“I did not even mean for my words to be heard, understood or communicatedto the opposing team or the cricket fans.

I have in the past and will continue in future to appreciate thecamaraderie of my fellow cricketers from across the globe and will alwaysrespect and honour them on and off the field,” he stated.
