ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has received anAirbus A320-200, with registration name AP-BMX, as its latest addition tothe fleet.

The aircraft has been leased from ALAFCO – a Kuwait-based aircraft-leasingcompany – and arrived at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport onThursday.
The Airbus was built nine years ago and took its first flight on July 22,2010. It was previously used by a Saadi airline.
This will be 12th Airbus 320 in PIA’s fleet; the airline is expectinganother delivery (of AP-BMY) next month. The airline uses this super-quiet,fuel-efficient airplane on its domestic as well as international routes.
