*PESHAWAR – A six-member Russian army delegation led by Vice Admiral Osipovlgor Vladimirovich, visited Corps Headquarters Peshawar, said Inter ServicePublic Relations (ISPR) on Thursday.*

The delegation during its visit of the headquarters called on CorpsCommander Peshawar Lieutenant General, Shaheen Mazhar Mehmood and discussedissues of mutual interests.

The Russian army delegation was briefed on Pakistan Army’s campaign againstterrorism, situation and fencing along Pak-Afghan border, reads thestatement released by ISPR.

Earlier, on arrival, Osipov lgor Vladimirovich laid a floral wreath atYadgar-e-Shuhada to pay tribute to the martyrs of Pakistan Army.

A Russian Army contingent on October 22, had arrived in Pakistan toparticipate in ‘Druzhba-III’, the joint military training exercise betweenboth the countries, continued till November 4.
