MOSCOW – Rocket launchers capable of firing 24 missiles before reloadingand mine-clearing vehicles were showcased during a huge military drill inMoscow on Friday.
The exercise, aimed at countering the threat of international terrorism,involved the armies of Russia, India, Pakistan and China and is spreadaround 17 locations, The Mirror has reported.
The video, released by the Zvezda TV channel which is funded by the Russiangovernment, shows several Solntsepyok (Blazing Sun) self-propelled multiplerocket launchers positioning themselves along the road.
The launchers fire off and clouds of grey smoke covers the target area.
