RAWALPINDI – Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR)Major General Asif Ghafoor on Sunday said he plans to hold a meet day forhis fans.
In a tweet, the Army spokesperson expressed his pleasure on meeting a fanfrom Swabi. He added that he has received numerous requests from fans. “Ihave myriad such requests which I most humbly acknowledge.”
Thanking fans for their “love and support”, Maj Gen Ghafoor stated he willplan a “fans meeting me day”. “I shall share contact number forcoordination,” he added.
A two-star general, Ghafoor succeeded Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwain December 2016 as the spokesperson for the Pakistan Army’s media wing.Earlier, he had commanded a division in Swat. Ghafoor was part of theartillery regiment and also served in the military operations directorate.
