ISLAMABAD – Pakistani cricket fame sports journalist Zainab has made aunique world record.
She has become the first woman in the cricketing world, including theplayers, to reach 1million followers on Twitter.
She is the third person among non-cricketers, after Indian commentatorsHarsha Bhogle and Gaurav Kapoor, to achieve this milestone.
In a video message on her Twitter handle, Zainab thanked her “1 millionfamily” and said: “It feels special from where I started and now have 1million followers and I know not many people have this in the world ofsports journalism.”
Zainab further said most important message she has is for all the women outthere. “When I read a lot of messages from young girls and they say ask howcan we become part of the world of sports journalism and please give us theright direction,” he said, adding this makes her feel special.
“I love all of you and keep supporting and keep loving my work.”
