*KARACHI: After transforming Lahore into Paris now *Punjab Chief MinisterShehbaz Sharif vowed to “transform Karachi into New York” if PakistanMuslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is elected to power in Sindh.
“I have not come here for political point scoring. Trust me, if PML-N iselected to power in Sindh, we will turn Karachi into New York,” CM Punjabsaid while speaking during meetings with political leaders from Sindh.
Shehbaz, who is on a two-day visit to Karachi, visited Awami National Party(ANP)’s Mardan house and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Bahadurabad leaders.
While speaking to the media along with ANP leader Shahi Syed at Mardanhouse, Shehbaz said that Karachi is the face of Pakistan and that “we willrestore its reputation.”
