The bodies have been sent for autopsy.

There has been a rise in border killings of Bangladeshi citizens by Indianforces, with six deaths reported this month, according to local mediareports.

Bangladeshi Foreign Minister Abdul Momen earlier this month expressedconcern over the “sharp rise in border killings” by Indian forces.

Tensions are prevailing between the two South Asian states following theenactment of a controversial citizenship law by India which indirectlyaccuses Bangladesh of abusing minority rights. Three top Bangladeshiministers cancelled their scheduled India visits amid the tensions.
