France to provide soft loan for Peshawar Bus Rapid Transit Project

PESHAWAR – France will provide one hundred and thirty million Euros softloan for Peshawar Sustainable Bus Rapid Transit Corridor Project.

Secretary of Economic Affairs Division Noor Ahmed, Ambassador of FranceMarc Baréty and Jacky Amprou , Country Director of the French Agency forDevelopment signed an agreement in this connection in Islamabad on Tuesday.

The project will provide safe, efficient and well integrated mass transitsystem improving energy efficiency and air quality through reduction ofGreen House Gas emissions.
