NAB clarifies media report over death of Sargodha University Professor under custody

ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Friday clarified that MianJavaid accused in Sargodha University case did not die in its custody.

According to NAB spokesman, the deceased was on judicial custody in CampJail Lahore on the orders of Accountability Court since October, 2018 anddied in Services Hospital in judicial custody. The impression that he diedin NAB custody was incorrect and totally baseless.

The spokesman urged the media to avoid speculations over the issue.
