Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeezur-Rehman has withdrawn tax, fee, revenue levied by Local bodies and Rural development department Gilgit Baltistan till further order.
This was stated by Minister Law Aurangzeb Khan giving a briefing to media men on Tax in Gilgit. Advisor to CM for Information Shams Mir was also present.
Minister said notification in this regard has been issued.
He said that Chief Minister has constituted a committee comprising members GB Council, Legislative Assembly, Awami Action committee and Injumine Tajaran to prepare recommendations about amendments in the income tax adaptation act 2012.
