ISLAMABAD – Police on Monday arrested two workers of the JamiatUlema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) for allegedly violating Section 144 imposed inIslamabad by the district administration.
Sources told the media that JUI-F workers Maulana Shafiq-ul-Rehman andMaulana Muhammad Arshad were arrested by police while they were putting upbanners of the planned Azadi March by the end of Oct.
Officers also seized their banners.
Police stated that JUI-F workers have been inciting the general public toparticipate in the anti-government agitation.
