*KABUL – Afghanistan Governor of Maidan Wardak Province comes under deadlycar bomb blast.*
*At least three policemen were killed, and two of the governor’s securityguards were wounded, in a car bomb in Maidan Shahr, capital of MaidanWardak province, sources said.*
The incident occurred at approximately 2:30 pm in Maidan Shahr while theprovincial governor, Muzafaruddin Yemen, was attending an event at thepolice station in the city center; however, the governor was not injured,said Mohibullah Sharifzai, a spokesman for the governor, TOLO News hasreported.
