ISLAMABAD: Former Skipper of Pakistan Cricket team Shahid Afridi has hit hard at India over the taunt of the father son relation which was circulated in the Indian media after Pakistan’s defeat at the hands of India in the Champions Trophy group match.
Shahid Khan Afridi has said that India would now have got better idea about the real sense of father-son relation after Pakistan defeated them fair and square at the Champions Trophy final.
Shahid Afridi let it be known while adressing a function in Karachi as he professed that merely winning the Champions Trophy is not enough and that we should improve our domestic career in order to win continously.
The former skipper was of the opinion that senior players would say adios to cricket only if those following him would also prepare to do so.
He expressed that the purpose of his foundation is the betterment of country and its people.
