LAHORE – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Chaudhry Nisar AliKhan may become the next Chief Minister of Punjab in Usman Buzdar is sacked.
He is expected to take oath as a member of Punjab Assembly (MPA) later thisweek, a private media outlet has reported.
Nisar — who had contested the 2018 general elections from two NationalAssembly and two provincial seats — could only manage to secure his PA-10constituency seat. He has, however, not taken his oath till date.
Reportedly, Nisar can replace Sardar Usman Buzdar as Punjab Chief Ministeras the premier is not happy with his performance as the chief administratorof the province.
