PM Imran Khan held important phone call with NZ PM Jacinda Ardern

*ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday condemned the terroristattack on mosques in Christchurch, martyring 50 worshipers.*

In a telephonic conversation with his New Zealand counterpart JacindaArdern, the premier strongly condemned the attack and admired the humanehandling of the situation after the massacre.

He appreciated the quick response of the local authorities and the highlevel of respect shown by the Prime Minister of New Zealand for Muslims.

Mr Khan maintained that Ardern has shown the way to other leaders in theface of rising Islamophobia and global extremism.

Miss Ardern lauded the sacrifice of Pakistani national Naeem Rashid, wholaid down his live in order to save other worshipers in the mosque.

50-year old Rashid who hailed from Abbottabad was a university professor.He received martyrdom along with his 21-year-old son Talha in theChristchurch attacks when a self-confessed white supremacist BrentonTarrant opened fire during Friday prayers, killing at least 50 and leavingtwo dozen others injured.
