ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Asif Saeed Khosa hastaken notice of the alleged suicide of Brigadier (retd) Asad Munir onThursday.
The CJP took notice on a letter addressed to him allegedly written by lateAsad Munir.
The former member of Capital Development Authority (CDA) Brigadier (Retd)Asad Munir was found dead at Diplomatic Enclave in Islamabad, on March 15.
Police hinted the death as suspected suicide as ‘Munir was worried for anongoing investigation against him by the NAB.’
It is pertinent to mention here that the ex-CDA member was facingallegations for restoring of plots in F-11 area of the federal capital.
Munir’s body was shifted to PIMS Hospital by the police officials.
Later, the body was handed over to Munir’s son as relatives arrived in atPIM Hospital, however, the autopsy was not carried out after rejection fromhis family members.
