CHENGDU, China: Consul General of Pakistan in Chengdu, Muhammad MudassirTipu and Director General of Chengdu Foreign Affairs’ Office, Jiang Bin,launched Bus 115 on its route depicting Pakistan’s beauty through pictorialdisplay of CPEC and Gawadar on it.
With engraved photos, the Bus will run through Chengdu for one month.
The Consulate General of Pakistan organized engraving of captivating photosof Pakistan on the Bus 115 to promote the theme of ‘Beautiful Pakistan’ andto showcase Pakistan’s rising economic growth as well as attract attentionof millions of people in Chengdu.
The Bus, run by State-owned enterprise Shudu Bus Company, plies the busiestroute in Chengdu and caters to the needs of thousands of passengers everymonth.
Speaking at the ceremony, DG Jiang Bin said that the Bus will pictoriallyintroduce Pakistan in the mega-city of Chengdu and will help strengthenPakistan-Sichuan ties.
Consul General, Mudassir Tipu, thanked the municipal government of Chengdufor providing the opportunity to showcase Pakistan and hoped that with thisinitiative, coinciding with Pakistan’s 79th National Day, people in Sichuanwill appreciate Pakistan’s real beauty and will consider Pakistan as theirtourist destination.
He also underscored that photos of Gwadar Port and CPEC projects on the busepitomize the strength and depth of Pakistan-China relationship andquintessentially demonstrate that Pakistan had entered into a major phaseof its economic development.
