ISLAMABAD: Over the sensitive issue of Retirement age of governmentemployees, PTI government makes important decision.
The retirement age of government employees – which is at the age of 60 –will not be extended, while recommendations have been made by a committeeto support the case.
According to sources, the committee recommended not to increase theretirement age, saying that the retirement age of public servants should bemaintained at 60 years.
This initiative is designed to maximize the potential of youth. Thecommittee also recommended the appointment of federal secretaries for twoyears to provide protection to government officials during their employment.
