On the commencement of the week, the gold price in Pakistan held steady atRs. 215,100 per tola.
As per the data disclosed by the All-Pakistan Gems and JewellersAssociation (APGJA), the rate for gold (24 carats) was recorded at Rs.215,100, with the price for 10 grams remaining unchanged at Rs. 184,414.
During the preceding week, the value of this precious metal in Pakistanexperienced an increase of Rs. 4,100 per tola. Within that period, the goldprice surpassed the Rs. 216,000 mark, marking the first time in over twomonths before ultimately settling at Rs. 215,100 on Saturday.
In the international market, spot gold saw a marginal decline of 0.1percent, reaching $1,977.30 per ounce as of 1017 GMT, while US gold futuresexhibited a 0.3 percent decrease, amounting to $1,979.60.
