NEW DELHI – India’s ruling Bhartiya Janta Party leader has been arrestedover Rape Charges by the Police.
Former Indian BJP Minister Swami Chinmayanand was arrested in the allegedsexual harassment case of UP law student on Friday (September 20).
He has been sent to 14 judicial remand. “Swami has been arrested today fromthe Ashram. The SIT team conducted his medical and sent him to judicialremand for 14 days,” said the Moradabad DGP.

“There’s been no delay in arrest. He was arrested after the forensicinvestigation of the video,” he added.
