*NEW DELHI – In a* Big Boost to India, Indian Air Force gets the firstacceptance Rafale combat fighter jet from France, India media has reported.

Indian Air Force (IAF) has finally received its first ‘acceptance’ Rafalecombat aircraft from France, According to news agency ANI. Deputy Air ForceChief Air Marshal VR Chaudhary also flew in the aircraft for around onehour.

India had signed an inter-governmental agreement with France in September2016 for procurement of 36 Rafale fighter jets at a cost of around Rs58,000 crore.
