Federal Cabinet decides to approach UK Court to bring back Avenfiled looted money back to Pakistan

*ISLAMABAD: The first meeting of the new federal cabinet with PrimeMinister Imran Khan in the chair has decided to approach UK Court and bringback the looted money of the Avenfiled apartments to Pakistan.*

Briefing media about important decisions taken during the meeting,Information Minister Fawad Ahmed Chaudhry said the cabinet reiterated thatthe accountability process will begin from cabinet members.

He said no cabinet member will now be able to avail the facility ofundergoing treatment abroad at the state’s expense. As announced by PMKhan, the cabinet decided to auction 88 additional vehicles of PrimeMinister House.

Mr Chaudhry said the cabinet also decided to put the names of formerpremier Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz on the Exit Control List(ECL) and take measures to repatriate his two sons – Hussain and HassanNawaz – and former finance minister Ishaq Dar who have been declaredfugitive by courts.

The government will also approach British authorities for bringing Sharifs’properties back to Pakistan, he said.
