ISLAMABAD – Pakistan’s legendary fast bowler and former head coach WaqarYounis has pledged to support Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chief ImranKhan’s motto to build ‘Naya Pakistan’ and to bring a positive change in thecountry.
Sending warm wishes to Khan for the upcoming general elections, the formerPakistan skipper captain tweeted, “Enough is enough. Time to bring ChangePakistan. All the best in the upcoming elections Skipper [Khan], we are allbehind you”.
PTI chairman has been a popular figure, mainly among many celebrities,throughout his journey. Even before stepping into the world of politics in1996, he was a crowd-pleaser.
Celebrities such as Amir Liaquat, Salman Ahmad, Abrar-ul-Haq and Hamza AliAbbasi are already active members of PTI. However, the current electionfever has driven many other celebs such as Mawra Hocane, Maya Ali, FarhanSaeed and Urwa Hocane, to lend their support to PTI chief, Khan.
