KARACHI: The Sindh Rangers recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunitiondumped underground during an intelligence based operation (IBO) in Karachi.
According to the Rangers spokesperson, the raid was conducted at an emptyplot located in Old Golimar area and the weapons recovered included threesub machine guns (SMGs), two awan bombs and a large variety of ammunitionof different calibers.
Sources relayed that these weapons were used in terror activitiesthroughout the city and belonged to the Uzair Baloch group of Lyari gangwar.
“Citizens must inform us about any suspicious activity taking place intheir surroundings,” appealed the spokesperson.
