ISLAMABAD – To a question about fiscal budget for the year 2019-20,Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid said he didn’t know when will it beunveiled.
However, he added he will finalise the railway’s budget by April 24.
Rasheed said Prime Minister Imran Khan would inaugurate the Sir Syed trainservice.
He said the Main Line-1 project will provide around 150,000 jobopportunities.
Pakistan and China will sign a preliminary agreement for the design of theML-1 project during the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan toChina, he added.

He said that upon completion of ML-1 project, the travel duration fromLahore to Karachi will reduce to eight hours.
