ISLAMABAD – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has expedited the process ofmerging tribal districts with the province for better administrativemanagement and rapid development of erstwhile FATA.
According to an official notification by Home and Tribal Affairs departmentin Peshawar today, fifteen political lock ups in merged districts have beendeclared as sub jails.
According to detail, in district Khyber three lock ups have been declaredas sub jails whereas in tribal districts Kurram, Mohmand, Bajaur, Orakzai,North and South Waziristan two each political lockup have been declared assub jails.
Similarly, twenty-five police stations will also be established in thetribal areas for improving law and order situation.
